The hotel's rooms come in five categories and are steeped in Dutch interior design traditions. Where they could, the architects used the measurements, the materials and the colours of the original emigrant’s hotel of the 1920s for the rooms and the public spaces. This resulted in a huge variation in rooms, and the use of tiles, parquet and cast house floors. The interiors offer striking solutions to the demand that they should have spacious sleeping and bathing areas. The on site restaurant offers French cuisine, paired with indigenous and South-European dishes, snacks and delicacies. 2 banqueting spaces are appointed for business or pleasure from 2 to 100 guests. The hotel is located in Amsterdam Zeeburg, one of the boroughs of Amsterdam. The construction of new islands to the east called IJburg makes it the most rapidly growing borough of Amsterdam.
