Description
Simply Saadani Camp is a unique safari camp situated just 3 km from the North gate to Saadani National Park. It features raised tree house-style thatched tented rooms scattered amongst coconut groves on a deserted stretch of wild beach. Each individually decorated room has a private terrace and a hammock with sea views. The beds are draped in mosquito nets and the private bathroom includes a bath or shower. The restaurant at Simply Saadani Camp overlooks the Indian Ocean and serves mostly seafood. It also has a well-stocked bar. Guests can enjoy a unique bush-dining experience. Activities at the lodge include nature-walking trails where guests can view smaller bush animals and bird watching. A canoe ride on the Mafuki creek is also on offer for yet another bird watching experience. Madete turtle sanctuary is 5 km from the property. A charter flight from Zanzibar to Saadani airstrip will take 15 minutes and a charter flight from Dar es Salaam will take 30 minutes.
