The Hotel Gaudi is located in the heart of Barcelona, next to the Ramblas and the Barri Gotic (the Old Town), close to the cathedral, the Palau de la Generalitat and City Hall. Other places of interest to be found close to the hotel are the Picasso Museum, the Liceu opera house, the Port Vell harbour area and the Mare magnum centre (which play host to some of the city\s leading leisure and night life areas), a few minutes stroll from the hotel. The standard bedrooms are large and comfortably decorated with traditional furnishings. All have private bathrooms with marbled floors. Hotel can provide rooms for up to six people. The top three floors of the hotel face the famous multicolour towers designed by Gaudi, named after the master of modernist architecture in Spain, Antonio Gaudi. Breakfast is served in the restaurant between 7.30 and 11.00 a.m., allowing all guests to enjoy the buffet offered.The caf'-restaurant, set alongside the hotel\s reception, is open from 11.30 in the morning to 12.00 midnight, where you can lunch or dine in comfortable, relaxed surroundings. The hotel is housed in a traditional building with a carved sand stone facade. The Hotel Gaudi has been completely restored respecting its original architecture, with its vaulted entrance, which belonged to a former convent, and its hall, which has been given something of a modernist style to do justice to its name. Medium size lobby decorated with a fabulous mosaic imitating Gaudi style. For all those guests who want to keep in shape, the Hotel Gaud' boasts a fully-equipped gym where they can enjoy a good workout. For businesses, this establishment offers fully-equipped meeting rooms with different layouts, (theatre, school, reception, U-shaped or round table) making them suitable for any kind of event.
