With the property enjoying a fantastic location on the banks of the Grand Canal opposite Santa Lucia railway station, guests arriving in Venice by car, or bus, at Piazzale Roma are able to reach the hotel on foot in a matter of minutes. A short walk in the opposite direction across the Ponte degli Scalzi Bridge brings guests to the main vaporetto water bus stops - from here all of Venice beckons. This family-run hotel is indeed rather acceptable too! Housed in a typical 18th century Venetian palazzo, the Canal ofers a beautiful internal courtyard garden where guests can enjoy Summer breakfast 'al fresco'. Many ceilings have characteristic wooden beams and the furnishings are in classic Venetian style; there is also a small bar. All rooms provide private bathroom, telephone, TV, hairdryer and are air-conditioned.
